    That DOES look like him. Well, maybe he'll never crow and he'll get to stay. :) Although at this point I don't think he realizes he's the only boy around.

    No other roosters. We can't have roosters in the city limits. He's outta here the second he crows! :) I do wish I could see how big he grows up to be.

    His comb looks natural and easter eggy. When I compare him to pictures of EE roosters, his legs are a lot longer. The person that kept that them bred and sold them for various reasons and it had turned into sort of a hoarding situation. We also seized bantams, guineas, doves, goats, piglets...

    Thats the thing, he's BIG. We've had him for about 3 weeks now and he hasn't crowed. At what age do they usually start crowing?

    It's a very large bird, with super long legs. Its fun to watch it sprint across the yard chasing bugs like a velociraptor. :) Looks like a rooster to me but has not crowed in the few weeks we've had it.

    I seized this chicken from a property that was cruelly confining their animals. When the court hearing was over and we were granted custody, I ended up adopting it. But I have no clue what it is. Any ideas?
