    Our hens were about 1 yr and a month old, we got two more from a farm not too far away that weee 14 weeks old. Isolated about 2 weeks, other side of fence a couple more then range together and now then been going in coop off and on, either one or both are inside or outside in run perch attached...

    Got Gold Laced Wyandottes all have yellow feet but one has greenish gray feet and is much lighter in color; looked pretty much the same as chicks when got at Rural King

    8’x8’ half is coop with run under coop and run entire other half So sleep coop run the rest Also door in run to range in fenced areas that i’ll rotate I’m in central OH

    I have 4x8 and nest box is inside so 4x7 I made roost of two 48” 2x4 with thin wall on nest side and another on side to go out to run, it seems sorta to big and like only a lane to get to nest or roost and not much other room Think 7 chickens I guess question is, do the need much room other...

    Using wood i already had, i Got a 11” wide , 13” Deep, and 14” high at front 24”in back - angled back so they won’t get on top Question is, will 11” be wide enough Dual purpose breed like hampbar ( is what local store usually has)

    Thanks, that was pretty much what i was thinking - accept risk. Just wanted see what others thought. Raccoon, weasels fox, chicken hawks are probably worst here some coyotes, skunk,opossum
