    Do you change the name of the chicken if they turn out to be a boy or girl?

    I know this is a silly question but it looks like "big boy" is gonna be a girl...The chicken knows her name as big boy so should I change it or just keep calling her what she was named. Are there rules for this?

    Chicks eating layer feed

    OMG I'm glad I got on here today and saw this! I have been feeding my 4 laying hens and 5 6-8 week old babies laying scratch feed. I guess i'll run to the store tomorrow to switch to a different kind.
