    Does anyone know what the cause of this is? My quails joint is swollen and seems to have gotten worse, can barely stand up and tips.

    Yeah I’m not sure. It hasn’t gotten worse since, and there isn’t a wound or anything so I don’t what’s causing it. The vet near me specializes in small animal household pets, but maybe I’ll be able to find another. So far he’s been eating and pooping normally so that’s good!

    We mainly just stick to their feed, occasionally we will chop up some veggies and lettuce for them to eat. Here are a few photos I found on my phone of part of their cage.

    They are all on a 30% protein starter feed. Had to move him indoors and separate from the rest since he was getting picked on. They have a large raised hutch cage outside with rubber coated wiring on the floors.
