    Story of a boy and his chickens.

    We have a new member of the family. A 7 week old German Shepherd boy named Colt. I snapped some pics of him with the chickens so I had excuses to post his pictures here.

    How many eggs do you get weekly? What do you do with the extra eggs?

    Im getting 6 a day from pullets that just came in to lay a couple weeks ago. I have 11 and I know at least 2-3 still aren't laying. I'm glad they started before winter as Im guessing now they will keep going all the way through.

    And Yea! You do see some Deleware. I have 4 Deleware pullets. I had a cockerel but found him a new home as 3 for 11 total pullets was too many. This was the cockerel Matty Ice. Sorry I know this is not a Deleware focus thread but there is some red in there too!
