How terrible. Maybe it was that. I was cooking with cast iron and we strive to have a chemical free home. Never even thought the bullbs might be the culprit. They used the same ones at TCS. -

The brooder was a large plastic tub with a brood light purchased at TSC (250W bulb I think, but will have to check when I get home).
