Hi appps, unfortunately yes it is banned in all states. Don't worry, I know quite a few people who feed meat scraps to their chooks. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's only meat food scraps that aren't allowed, "animals" such as worms or insects should still be OK. I think the distinction is...- ziggyboy

The thread starter did not say where he/she is from. This practice is banned in some countries. In Australia it is actually illegal to feed chickens meat scraps. We call it "swill feeding". Here's a webpage from our government...- ziggyboy
