I am so stressed about this. My big black beautiful NZ doe had 6 kits. They are a week old now. There are two issues. 1 she isn't feeding them unless I put her in box to feed. 2. She has been sneezing on and off since I've had her (about a month). Every once in a while ( rarely) she has a wee...
Hello, thank you for asking. I wormed them and they are doing good. And yet, they still have combs that go from bright red to pale, and lil black spots come and go.
Thanks so much for the information. Is it safe to do the Iona way with 10 week old chickens. I have 8 one year olds, 6 ten week olds, and 2 thirteen week olds. I would like to do the whole flock . Thanks
No, she just sits. But has stopped sitting now and runs around like normal. I did find a worm in some poop today so looking at using Ivermec injectable being that's what I have.
Thank you. I've been giving rooster booster at half dose every other day while the heat is so intense. She seems to be doing better. However today while cleaning out their pen I saw a worm in one of their poop. Now I'm looking up how to use Ivermec Injectable on the whole flock. Thanks again
No, she isn't staying in next anymore, I am still not sure what it was but she seems okay now. I did add rooster booster with electrolyte to there water. It's been in mid 90's here. Wow!
Hi y'all, I have a flock of ISA Browns. One is staying in nest all day. I thought she was egg bound but I don't feel an egg and she seems okay. I thought maybe broody but she doesn't act bitching. She seems to be pooping. I did soak her for two days. Kept filling her where egg would be and...
Hi, just finding out about this breed. I'm looking for some to add to my flock. Looking for a reputable breeder in the United States. Can you help me? Thank you
I feed my chickens (year this June 9th)organic feed, acv in water, rooster booster with probiotic, at will calcium, grit, fresh veggies, few millworms every other day or so, sunflower seeds, and free range on occasion. The temperature is 82 and breezy. They are in a mainly shaded large run and...
Mine do that when mosquitoes and gnats bite them. Might want to invest in a screen to cover openings, or essential oil spray that repels them, or a chemical spray that's safe for chickens.
