    Sadly after almost three weeks i had to euthanize the poor girl. She has stopped eating and would no longer let us give her water by syringe. thank you everyone for your help in trying to get her to recover.

    She seems to be okay for now. I went and checked on her and her leg was splayed out......Sadly it is freezing right now and there is no sun for her to bathe in as it is winter. I go in and check on her as she is in our mud room and we let her sit on our lap and she seems to be okay.

    Cockerel. Too much black in the wings for it to be a hen at that age. Trust me i know from experience. All mine that had that coloring at that age turned out to be males.

    Well i was told she was 14 weeks when we got her but she is pretty small so i suspected she may be younger. So its possible she is more like 18 weeks now. Here is a picture of her tail area and her eyes. Her eyes look yellow to me.
