I’m so so so sorry! I just want to tell you, it was NOT your fault. All your chicks have had the best care possible and I’m so happy you keep trying no matter what.

Thank you babe. This morning I said to my partner are we just not ment to have chickens?? He said bub I know your sad but its not your fault and we both look after them all day. But Hazel was with us most of the day cuddling, sitting on our knees, waiting for me at the front door. She seemed like she really enjoyed her day and is loving life.

Awww that just made my day that is so sweet

She loves being patted and her face scratched. And you sit on the ground and she's there on your lap or chilling with you.

She comes to her name too.

I love that! Poppy, my red star (looks JUST like hazel) pullet will stop at nothing to hang out with me! Aren’t chickens (and chicken besties) just amazing?

She met the chicks today and just watched them then did her own thing.

They are absolutely amazing. Its really good that my partner loves the chickens like I do. Anything I want when it comes to the chickens I get or he does for me.
