BackYard Chickens - Learn How to Raise Chickens

Hello! I've been crazy busy with school and a ton of ski trips. I'm hoping to log on a little more often now that the season is basically over, and I'm almost done school. How's it going?

Ski trips! I looove skiing but it’s been way too warm for most of the winter over here and Mom has been sick (she’s getting better though) so we haven’t gone. And with the whole coronavirus thing I’m sure it’s closed now. I’m pretty good! I’m so shy and introverted that I’m enjoying the break from society the plague has given me but I hope it doesn’t mess up sailing camp this summer. How’ve you been?

That's too bad! It's been beautiful in Canada all year, and although a few ski hills are closing, there's this pretty big one that's family run that hasn't closed yet. That's good she's getting better! Was it a long sickness?
Haha! Nobody I know is worrying yet, so I have had no breaks. Have you read any good books lately?

Yes, it has been a long sickness, it’s IBD and she’s had two big flare ups. It’s hard but she has managed to pull through each time. Unfortunately other complications come with it (such as cancer). Luckily natural treatment has worked amazingly, so no side effects from treatment

I read the Divergent series in less than two days! They were amazing. I’m reading them again now (more slowly this time!). They were so good I had to inhale them. Dad threatened to take away my books if I didn’t go outside and do something “productive” (I took the book outside! ). I’m addicted to reading, but I could be a drug addict, my parents don’t realize how good they have it

That's so great that she has been able to fight it! I hope she continues to get better, and that nothing is affected in the long run.
Wow! I've heard a lot of people talking about those books lately. How many are there in the series? Maybe you should make "TikTok"s all day and show him how blessed he is to have a bookworm.
