We have white, fawn and white, chocolate, and a black one with white markings.

Wow! Yes, I do have Runners and have 6 show quality Runner ducklings hopefully on the way!!

I would love to see picks when they hatch!!
I want to hatch out more but we can‘t keep more ducks here.
Not sure if ours are show quality, perhaps our white males, but I love them all.

Yeah! The Runner Ducklings that are coming are Mallard, White, and Emery Pencil. It will be male and female of each color.

Never hear of a Mallard Runner. A couple of our Fawn and White maybe Emery Pencil!
How can you tell the sex before they hatch?
We waited until we could hearcthe females quacking.

Where did you get the White Runners? - I would love to have some White Runner ducks - no drakes…

I got them from Purely Poultry but you can’t get just hens.

We bought our white runner eggs on Ebay, but most of the eggs we hatched, from both the white runner eggs and our other hatchlings are drakes. 4 out of 7.
I purchased 6 females from Metzer Farms to add to our flock.
I have read, and I don’t know if it is true, that most males ducklings are culled at large breeding farms because everyone wants females.

If you are not looking specifically for eggs, consider drakes. They are great foragers and quieter than females.

We have 10 beautiful hatchlings looking for a home. We have found homes for at least 20 but interest has dropped off. We are located just outside Philly and so most people drive 45 mind to an hour plus to pick them up which deters some, especially if they find Runners closer to them. Do you have any ideas? I looked for poultry swaps in PA and found some scheduled for September.
