My oldest son has special needs. He accomplished much more than some doctors thought he would. Unfortunately, he is now suffering from mental health as well and is struggling again. Keeping a positive attitude and a strong faith will help him and us.

Sorry to hear that he's suffering from metal heath and is struggling. :hugs:hugs I'll be praying for him and that he gets better soon.

He has some Autistic tendencies but is not Autistic. He has a rare genetic syndrome called Med13L. We only found out last year what it was when more intense genetic testing became available. He is 28 years old.
What is your situation, if you don't mind me asking? You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

Hmm, I've never heard of Med13L before. You said that you just found out last year, so is it a newly discovered Special Needs thing? There's a lot of things that is like Autism, but isn't Autism. They all appear to be related to each other. (Left-handed people like to run along side too.) Is Med13L related to Autism too?
