Cute! my red EEs lay darker green, but they are still a nice pastel. They are also very snuggly. I think they must be one of my favorite breeds.

Agreed! They are great birds, friendly and good layers! If I could have more chickens, I would have a flock of them! However, with a tiny yard, there are so many other breeds I wanted to try, too. . .

Same. I only have two EEs because my yard is so small and i wanted to try all the other breeds.

What other chickens do you have? I have a Buff Orpington, and will be getting a Speckled Sussex and Black Australorp. Then I'll be one bird over max capacity! 🤣

I have 7. Also 1 bird over capacity. two red EEs, a buff orpington, Jersey Giant, Mille Fleur d'Uccle, a Brahma, and a bantam barred cochin.
