    Hi! In your signature you say you feed your chickens herbs! Out of curiosity, what herbs do you feed them and why? I love natural remedies and herbs and am always ready to learn more!

    Hi! It will not let me put a comment on here that is longer than 420 characters so I'll have to send my comment in two parts. Here is part 1. I feed my chickens garlic, apple cider vinegar, and pumpkin/squash seeds for natural deworming. And I also feed them fresh mint, comfrey, yarrow, plantain, horseradish, dandelion, borage, parsley, apple cider vinegar, and echinacea from my garden for overall health.

    Part 2: I also feed them salt and kelp for minerals. If they get mites I mash up garlic and mix it with water and essential oils and rub it in their body. These herbs always work super well. Hope this helps! Thanks!

    I have never heard of some of those, like garlic as a dewormer! I'll remember this! They sound like such a happy little flock 🥰
