I have a speckled sussex chick who is around 9-10 weeks old. Her(?) tail has reached a pretty high height and is now starting to curve like a roo (also it's kinda' green) but her crest is very small, so I'm not sure if it's an SHE or an HE.
Can you keep a rooster in edmonds if it doesn't crow?
I have one Speckled Sussex that's around 8 weeks old and I'm wondering if it's a pullet or cockerel. It's crest is just a teeny-weeny bit bigger than my other two chick but it's tail feather is showing some green, so I'm really not sure. Here's a picture of it's tail and it's whole body :
