Ah, I'm an artist as well, I paint, but mostly I do pottery. I began practicing digital art in 2019, but I find it so incredibly challenging. Like it doesn't translate well for me. Of course, I need to practice more. I stopped when I got Covid and almost died Jan 2020. My plan now is to sit with my chicks and get back to practice by drawing them.

Nice! I've done serious pottery only once, other than just messing around with clay.
I have a very easy method for you! Sketch what it is your doing first, then upload it to an art app, and color it there, works for me!
We all do, part of being an artist! Oh, my, I'm so sorry, :hugs

I'm alive! Other than that, many complications, but I have chicks now, so nothing else matters. :wee

I taught pottery for a while, and miss it immensely. Hopefully I can set up my studio once more, and get back to it.

Funny thing is, I haven't ever sketched myself in a serious way. I'll post a couple of my human pieces.
(I mainly sketch mammals, birds, and fantasy creatures)
