I don't think that the Hatcheries use the 'A' in their renamed EEs, or do they?

Depends. Most commonly they say "Americana" and "Ameracauna" but they'll sometimes use the actually breed name of "Ameraucana." I'm sure they say "Amerucana" sometimes too though. I've just personally never seen it.

Yeah. Maybe. Maybe I was getting the 'i' mixed up. I was trying to spell it according to how the local people in my area are used to it being spelled. 
You sure know a lot about the Ameraucanas! Even though they're supposedly common, I have such a hard time with spelling the breeds name! I'd rather call them EEs!
