Yes we have many cockatiels in an aviary and two special pet boys who are indoors - Lemmy and Sprout. Aren't they just the best pets ever?! We adore them.

There are always those certain special ones. We had three, Scout and Sky’s other sister, also Lutino, but sadly she passed.

Yes, they are wonderful pets, and they don’t require all the care and attention of large hook billed birds. However, Scout is rather demanding…. 
And thank you. We do love them. A semi-local pet store bred cockatiels, so that’s where we got Scout and Sky. The people there hand-fed them, so they would grow up to be fine pets.

I got them from a breeder I used to help out. Sprout is a small bird but what he lacks in size he more than makes up for with attitude. He believes he is the most important bird in the world and should get all the attention. Lemmy is much more mild mannered and he loves our son.

We have started breeding them and our two kids help me hand rear most of the babies. I used to be a cat person and I still love our cats, but cockatiels have earned a huge place in my heart. I can't imagine life without them now.

Wow, is it pretty rewarding? I would love to breed and sell, but I would need to do plenty of research. Would I be able to safely breed Sky and Scout together? Who better to ask then you.

This is Sky and Scout’s father Belvedere (Photo below). And their mother Chelsea was probably a cinnamon pearl, I might have a picture of her.
And his sister Sky, she’s very sweet when you take her to a quiet place for some loves.
