I’ve been great! I’m planning on getting some chicks in the spring.

That's good! Little chicks are the best, we have 8 four day old's currently (And probably like ~50/60 chickens, 12 ducks, 17 guinea fowl, and 2 geese). Do you know what breed of chicks you may get?

I thought maybe two Rhode Island reds, three barred rocks, and Australorp and an Easter Egger. That would give us twelve total.

Aw, we have all those breeds and they are wonderful! I would 10/10 recommend. The Australorps are super sweet, barred rocks are really chatty and fun to be around, EE's are gorgeous and they generally get along well with everyone, and RIR's tend to take the lead. Good choices! Green Queens are also really sweet and they follow us around. Calico Princess is another really good breed.
