I absolutely LOVE coderlia’s coloring! So unique! Makes me want to steal her….. ok, not really, but still! So gorgeous!

Haha! I saw the breeders pictures of her sex linked crosses and just fell in love with how pretty they were. The lady is NPIP and ships hatching eggs and chicks all over the country every spring. If you’re on Facebook, her page is Cocktails and Hens. She might have an Etsy site as well, but I’m not sure.

Oh wow! Thanks! She looks just *chef’s kiss*. I’m glad you got her! What color eggs?

She’s also got some Partridge Brahmas that are stunning! I want to add one or two to my flock this spring.

Cordelia’s eggs are a light tan. Lemme see if I can find a pic

I do hope you will! But how will you convince your husband? 🤔

Gorgeous! My EE’s lay the same shade of blue. Here’s my favorite:
Very tame, interestingly, she “became” tame by herself. She was the 1st as well To be tame.

Convince my husband . . . not sure. I’m trying to decide how to do it. They may just magically show up one day. Although he did say he really liked the looks of Blue-laced Red Wyandotte’s and I may have asked my breeder friend to help me find some good ones . . . Chicken Math at its finest!

Yes! Sounds a lot like what black acres did. She got everything ready for a hedgehog, and then the husband was forced to pick up the hedgehog, which, was already paid for 😂

Oh, your EE is pretty! I like her little crest! Do your chickens have names?

That story from BlackAcres made me laugh!

It was pretty funny!

Yes, they do! Do you want to know? (I always ask, just to make sure ;))

Ok! So the EE that I just showed you, is named Fluffy. She’s the heaviest EE, and for a while, I thought she was a rooster. The other 2 EE’s are Black Fluff, and Painthead. COCHINS: Ruby, the reddish one, Marshamllow, the white one, and Oreo Penguin, the Laced one. OE’s: Unnamed. Rooster: His name is Checkers. (I will post pics in just a bit)

Black Fluff, the black one, and the other is Painthead. Interestingly, Painthead does not have “hair”. I named Black Fluffy after Fluffy, she is also very tame. Painthead, isn’t very tame, but she’ll come to you, and occasionally eat from your hand. We named her that becuase as a chicke, her head looked as if she was dipped in paint 😂

Interesting how Black Fluff’s beak is pigmented!

I love laced birds . . . and Black Fluff is pretty too!

To be fair to my husband, he doesn’t mind my chickens, and really likes the tasty eggs. He likes that they make me happy. If a new bird showed up, he’d probably just roll his eyes and smile.

We’re moving pretty soon and haven’t figured out what the chicken scene is going to be like (there are several different towns we could live in that are close to his new job, just haven’t found the right house yet) so that’s why I haven’t mentioned getting more chickens. All the towns we’re looking at have different chicken laws, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be covertly keeping more than what’s technically allowed.
