I have never seen it before. I read the Hobbit back in like the 7th or 8th grade though. I don’t even know if they are related.

The Hobbit is the first book, the Lotr books come after it.

So is that hobbit (Bilbo Baggins, or whatever his name was) in the Lord of the Rings? I hear there is a lot of fighting scenes in those movies. It probably wouldn’t keep my attention.

Lord of the rings is about Bilbo's nephew, Frodo. It continues the story. There is a lot of fighting, it's sort of like a mideval fantasy
