Hi! I was just catching up on your busy day yesterday. Let's start w/ going and getting chicks- I wouldn't advise it. If you do, they'll have to be segregated from your singleton for a few weeks to be sure they don't pass any disease to it, and guineas and chickens-it's a complicated relationship.

If you can, you'd be better off getting some more guinea eggs, they'd only be abt a month younger than your singleton, and a true flock. If you do, you'll have Mixed Flock to help you through it, as well as the rest of us.

Yes, I've had quite a few singletons. I just started incubating last year w/a handful of eggs at a time. It's not ideal, but I love the time I spend w/them,& they blend in w/the rest as they grow.

So #1. The baby needs to be kept warm-90-95° the 1st week, & then drop 5° each week. If you have a heat plate or what ever, that's fine. I use a heating pad on low. Numi's hut was a wire frame shaped like a tunnel, the heating pad tucked in the leg of fuzzy pjs & secured so she cldnt get inside of the pants leg to be directly on pad.
