Thanks everyone! I’ll have general anesthetic, but I’m not looking forward to recovery. I have a feeling I’ll get bored of ice cream and applesauce pretty quickly.
Well, I’m leaving in about 10 minutes. I have no idea how I’ll feel later today, or tomorrow, or the day after that. Hopefully I’ll be online for a bit though. I’ll see.
@Lovely Lettie, they're the third molars that generally come in between 17 and 21 years old. Most peoples mouths are too crowded for them, so they're often removed. I had mine taken out today (My mouth is so numb right now...) I'm actually pretty young for the surgery (I won't say my exact age but 13-16 years old)
I see you're back now, Lemon! How did it go? Both my brothers had theirs out a couple years ago, and they had horror stories about it. I'm hoping mine will just be able to come in by themselves, and they'll leave them alone.
I'm alright. My brain seems to be functioning normally at least. I'm having trouble swallowing and starting to feel a bit of pain, and my mouth feels so weird and numb, but so far it's ok.
I already ate some (homemade that I made yesterday) pudding as well as apple sauce. I’ve also been drinking Sprite, which tastes fine, but as recently I’ve been trying to eat less sugar… Just it has so much sugar! But it’s supposed to bring my blood sugar levels back up.
