We've been sweating (or panting, in the chicken's case) over here. The forecast says 106 today, so another scorcher. The garden has kinda exploded, so we're just trying to keep afloat right now. How've you been? Busy?

Geez! That’s tough. It’s actually been unusually cool over here, in the high 70’s mid 80’s. It’s usually 90-100 in August. I guess we sent it all your way! I hope you and your flock can stay cool.
Yeah, I’ve been busy travelling all over creation. I went to 5 summer camps this year, plus a week long trip to Florida. We are going to our farm 3hrs away this weekend to pick grapes, and maybe to the beach too.

Lucky! I want some of that. Though pretty soon I'll be shivering in winter and wanting a hundred degrees to warm me up.

My goodness, that's a ton of places! The farthest I've been away from our house is a half hour into Oregon, which was pretty boring. Five summer camps sounds like an awful lot. How did you fit them all in?
