Lol, I've got a very long byc naughty list! I don't understand why these people think young=annoying/stupid, it definitely doesn't

I can somewhat get her view. it gets frustrating when some random newbie (and by newbie, I mean 1 month tops newbie) comes by on a 15+ year old thread and replies to it, and you then have to tell them it's from 2009 and many of the members who replied have not been active for years. I have quite often thought about just PMing one of the moderators to tell them about said post.

oh, I have a good idea, why don't all the new people read the tread for how to be a good citizin of BYC? seriously? I took the time to do that when I started being a lurker here. it was my dream to be here, so I took it very seriously to be a good member in every way.

I did that too! It's good, but the older members don't care, they do run the place unfortunately and if you stand up for yourself you are some rude, bratty person. It sucks but after awhile you get used to it.

Thankfully I don't have delicate feelings that can get injured easily, but many new people do. when you have a post like that one, and a lurker sees it, I have a feeling some will say "ooh, I don't want to be around members like that!", and they won't join BYC.
