We actually just moved to Vermont in July, so right now I have only 26 chickens. 6 Easter Egger pullets, 2 Easter Egger cockerels, 12 Barnyard mix pullets, and 6 hens my neighbors gave me (they didn’t know what breeds they are).
At our old place I also raised Coturnix Quail and Pekin ducks.
I’m hoping to expand next year and get more breeds of chickens and other poultry, but we’ll see!
Wow, that's a lot of chickens (for me )! I've never had more than 14 birds at once. Did you bring most of them over when you moved?
I hope you get to expand next year! Poultry are so great to have. This is my first year with ducks and they're adorable and so fun to watch!
