  • Shug Shugs tri weekly photo close up of her double crest coming in. I swear every few days she grows more in such tremendous ways! Her bill is so much less baby, her crests are getting little pin feathers and her weight has almost doubled since her coming home. She is my inspiration. Neurological issues stop her NONE from being a happy duck who thrives independent.

Today was a successful day of re arrangement with sleeper coops and day time play pens. The ducklings have matured out of their 100 gal tote, and now are in a pen sleeper with about 15 Sq ft of room in our barn. They're running around with zoomies and enjoying some stuffed animals to cuddle into.💗 I think the stuffies, blankets and free roam room have their spirits soaring!
Don't give up on a building project just because others think it's unfeasible or not going to be a success or they think it's some privilege and expensive which is so very wrong.
Online has many resources and blue prints for coop layouts and designs, run ideas and brooder pens/nests. You could build a Victorian style chicken mansion or a simple box and run. The possibilities are endless. 💗
Today Sugar was complimented by my father in law on her hardy progress thriving with neurological issues. Sugar is excited every morning to see me, she knows fresh food will replenish their last night's stock & a smooshed pea will be presented to each of them. She runs with her flock mates & seems happy. She responds to her name & baby talk. Soon she sees the vet to be sure she is not in any discomfort. 💗 Praying!
