I finally just a week or two ago got hers taken care of. But have another that’s worse! What is the sugar fine method?

This' for horses you would need less for a chicken:

PROCEDURE
Pour 1/4 cup of sugar into a cup. Add about 3 tablespoons of povidone iodine solution to it. Using a tongue depressor, stir it until it becomes a thick granular paste (think cake frosting). Use a tongue depressor, gloved hand or 4x4 gauze pad, to apply it liberally to a defect in the hoof. Apply gauze pad over it and a hoof bandage over the top of that.

Gee you are having a time with it. Have you found the cause?
For me it was the chip bark in the bottom of the run, whenever they jumped off their perch's they would cut their feet or get a splinter. Needless to say that I am in the process of cleaning it out so that it can be replaced with something better.

Half the hens have bare backs from roosters. I had to bury one from a hole in her naked back so infected she died!
