Thanks! i breed wyandottes, i ended up getting some of my more blue/grey GLWs and paired em up and got some that look like er!

Wow, that’s real cool! I have always wanted to breed chickens, but know relatively nothing about it…I think it’d be cool to mix some though! Does it work like you just stick a hen and roo in same pen and get a mix of them? Do you incubate or use broody hens? Sorry for all the questions, I’m just ligit curious!

it works kinda like that, although there is some genetics math u gotta solve. there is some great threads about breeding on this forum (one of the breeders i follow, yard farmer has some intrestin threads if yer intrested)

and with the incubate of broody thing, i incubate somtimes, but it all depends. i love to see a momma hen with her chicks 
but dont like to deal with the momma
