our smallest chicken is best friends with our biggest chicken! they’re still only a couple months old, but our tiny bantam hen, mocha, loves to follow our polish hen uni. uni is easily almost 3 times her size now! the last picture was when they were both only a couple weeks old. sometimes mocha will get ran over by her larger friend but uni’s always careful around her.

a couple days ago, shuu (salmon favorelle hen) and gweek (OEG bantam rooster) sunbathing (despite it being scalding outside). they couldn’t resist the urge to flop over )
