We have two 6 year old Buffs. We just added three 2 year old hens. One of my Buffs just started laying again suddenly and it's December! Both of the Buffs stopped laying back in late August/early September. None of the new 2 year olds are laying. Why would a 6 year old start laying again now? We live in Virginia, so it is getting dark now around 5:00 pm.
