Day 22…one chick… Copper Maran x Buff Orpington but looks mostly Buff Orpington to me!

#day11 eggs 9, 10 and 13 all showing movement, hooray! Difficult to see anything but a good feeling about the brown egg (copper maran/buff mix). Suspect 4/5 viable out of 6.

Meanwhile 1 hen is sat on 7 eggs which may hatch in 2 weeks. She spent the whole morning of day 5 off the eggs but has otherwise nested well so I’ll candle in a couple of days but I expect a few will be viable.
