Wyandottes are more docile than sebrights. Sebrights, since they are light bantams, are wild and usually aggressive. I was not wise to get them. I just wanted them because of their beauty! lol I have heard that wyandottes can be on the aggressive side but they are a lot better than sebrights!
Thanks! Well, the one on the right, Freckles, was mean from the start. So we gave her to some friends who let their chickens free range. She was killed by a predator Speckles, the other one, was friendly for a time but then also grew mean and loud. So we gave her to the same friends. She is very happy there and is more friendly. She even remembered me when I visited her!
Yes, chickens as well as other animals drink more in the winter to keep from dehydrating. The actually tend to drink more in winter than in summer. (True for my girls!) A friend with horses told me that. Even Simba drinks more in the winter!
