That is the trouble with summer vacation...it goes to fast! Good to hear your flock is well and you have a couple of molters! None of mine are molting yet. Odd because usually some of them are starting to drop feathers. I am doing all I can for my hen. I sure hope I can save her! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Sweety! Yes it has been a long time since we have chatted!! How was your summer? How is your flock these days? My flock is doing fair. I have one hen healing nicely from a bumblefoot surgery I did on her a couple of weeks ago, and another hen I am not sure what is wrong with her. I have been medicating her for a couple of weeks. Hopefully she pulls through. Black Aussie in your profile pic? Pretty! Have a lovely evening my dear!

My flock is doing well, but still molting. And my turkey hen decided to sit on another clutch of eggs. I'm a bit nervous about her sitting this late in the year though. It's been beautiful here too, sunny and in the 70's. We did have one night were it got down to 45! It's hard to believe it's almost winter again! I hope all goes well with your swim season!

So far, it's fun. With things like the calendar judging, it's a lot! There were more than 430 entries to rate and we're still not done! But it's great because you get to help rate pics for lots of things and not just contests.

She fell and damaged her foot badly. She can't stand at all. I'm so scared she'll go lame.

The flock is good except for Gracie. She's injured and not doing well.
