We went to pick up pizza, and Esther came. There was a chicken restraunt nearby, and poor Esther must have smelled it, cause she got nervous and squeezed my hand with her claws. (I was carrying her, it didnt hurt, they do this when scared)
All the snow has melted! I redid the run yesterday, shoveled the dirt and added some new things to play with! They have been so forgiving about the missed play time, and make happy noises when they see me. I think they missed me. Chickens Rock!
And now it is icey. So slick I realy can't leave the house. I check on the chickens, obviously, but even they don't want to play, and I can't spot clean as usual because behind the coop is sooooo slick. I feel guilty, but have to remind myself that if I fall and get injured, no one else knows how to care for them.
I am kinda nervous. It's gonna get below 16°f where I live, and I know I have a small coop heater, and a water heater, but Onyx is half AC, and Esther has a massive comb and won't wear her hat! (I made her a hat) Glowy is fine.
