My Rhode Island Red chicks seem to be on the aggressive side is this normal behavior? They attack my hand when it’s feed time or even when I changed their bedding is this a behavior I can put to a stop?

Hello I’m new here could anyone tell me how to tell if I have a rooster chick or not? I just got some Rhode Island Red chicks to go with my midnight majesty’s kinda hoping I only have 1 if any roosters I know they’ll start crowing within a few weeks but would like to figure it out sooner if possible
