A complete automatic chicken door. Needs little sideway space and no extra height space to open.
I wanted to separate my broody in a seperate part of the run to brood quietly without disturbances. And keep her and eventually her chicks safe in the night.
Side effect: Because I moved her and couldn’t go back to her favourite nest she was no longer broody within a very short time.
The large nestbox already had the perfect size for this chicken door. Really easy to install with 6 screws.
The chicken door is probably not big enough for large fowl.

If I would rate it now, I would give 4 stars. Its not reliable (doesn’t close) when its gets dirty.
