Picture window is double plate plastic with air space insulation to help eliminate moisture buildup, which would obstruct viewing. Large viewing area is ideal for classroom work, science projects, advertising and promotional work, and for group observation of the hatching processes. The No. 1583 ia a circulated air model. Without a turner in place all Hova-Bators will hold any size egg, from 130 small Quail eggs, up to 50 large duck eggs. Dimensions: 18' x 18' x 9 1/2', 110 Volt AC,, 25 Watt All Hova-Bator incubators include a sanitary plastic liner (item No. 1765). Like all incubators, these models require a stable room temperature and should not be used in barns, sheds, etc.

Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Styrofoam, have to open to add water, temp fluctuates, poor customer service
Purchased one of these in a pinch directly from GQF. Their website leaves a lot to be desired, btw. The styrofoam is impossible to clean- it stained with the first hatch. Not sure if the sanitizing went well or not. It has no handles, so it is very hard to lift the top without digging your nails into styrofoam (over and over and over). Temp fluctuates by one degree in an 80 degree room if you can guess to set it correctly to begin with the cheap thermometer included. I removed the auto egg turner on lockdown because it would be very challenging for the chicks to walk on that and very possible they could hurt themselves. Without it to hold the eggs in place, the chicks rolled the pipped eggs all over. Worst hatch was 0. I called company to return it and they didn't call me back. I tried again. Next hatch was 8%. Called company again. No response. Best hatch was 58% I sold it on eBay. Glad to be rid of it.
Pros: Not as expensive, holds a good number of eggs.
Cons: Not a good thermometer, no hygrometer.
Love it! It isn't as expensive and is easy to use. I've done two hatches so far and am doing a third currently. But you MUST buy a thermometer/hygrometer for it! I has no hygrometer, which is a necessity, and the thermometer it comes with isn't precise enough to use. However That was easily taken care of. It is pretty big. I have 18 eggs in it currently, but It can hold more. I'd say about 30 if you aren't using an automatic turner. Holds temp pretty well. It heats up, then starts to cool, but starts heating again when it gets about a degree less. I am very happy with this and would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have $200 bucks to spend on an incubator. Just make sure you have a plan if the power goes out. The styrofoam doesn't hold heat well went the power is out.
Some hatch pics.

Pros: Temperature very steady, Holds temp and humidity very well, big viewing window, great price
Cons: Does not come with hygrometer
This is a great incubator, I purchased the turner with it and it is easy to control humidity and temperature.

It does come with a nice little thermometer to put inside but no hygrometer.

It only tells you about how much water you should put in, but for incubating you really need a hygrometer so you know when you need to lower it or rise the humidity. Other than that it is a nice incubator and I like it very much. Would recommend it if you buy a hygrometer along with it, then you can see if it is still a better deal. If you are contemplating between this incubator and another one, you probably want this one.

I picked up the 2362 E and bought the turner so we came out about the same price
I had bought a Janoel12 but it was very limiting I really like the Hova Bator so much more

I bought the one from tractor supply with the turner and all the other stuff that came with it. When I put it together minus the turner it was keeping temp and humidity within range once I put the turner in the temp spiked to 120 and wouldn't go any lower. So i'm going to return it and just get the one without the turner and save like 60 dollors. Still have a hard time keeping the humidity within line. Any suggestions?

it is not a hove bator right.. I had no issue with humidity with mine but bought a separate hygrometer placing them both insid

I bought a turner to add to mine less than buying one with it
but love my turner from GQF Hovabator
