OverEZ Chicken Coop (Large)

Chicken Coop Kit

OverEZ
Cons: No ventilation
These "shoeboxes" are torture chambers for chickens. Freezer box in the winter, oven in the summer, practically no ventilation, unnecessary large windows letting sun in, too high and narrow roosts, chickens must drop to the floor hard because these shoeboxes provide no landing space. Would give it 0 rating.

OverEZ- It's OK
Pros: Well built, will last a long time, sturdy.
Cons: Needs a lot of added ventilation, won't fit nearly as many chickens as it claims, and roost bars are poorly spaced.
The Over EZ coop seems to be made with quality materials, and is relatively easy to put together. However, like nearly all pre-fabs, it still requires modifications for ventilation and roost bar placement. Over EZ is also guilty of fibbing on the numbers, as far as how many chickens it houses. The "large" is 24 sq.ft, and they advertise it to fits up to 15 chickens (it can comfortably house about 8 reg sized chickens IF they're only in it to sleep and lay eggs)! Granted, as far as "prefabs" go, Over EZ is one of the better ones, but it is pricey and not perfect by any means.
