Best wishes, on a side note if you win make sure they pay with their pockets and are sued for harassment and lawyer fees. When cash strapped cities (and most are now days) get hit with a lawsuit and are ordered to pay they often won't do stupid crap like this again.
Anyone else have any guesses? The brahmas act about the same, with the buff being more docile. The silkies are completly docile and take handling well, but one has the crazy comb size I just hope shes a she. Thanks for the replys also.
I sure hope they are all girls (think silkie #1 is a roo though), they )Brahmas) were supposed to be bantams but they are just a little smaller than my BO.
All of my chicks are ~6 weeks old, they were around 5 days when I got them so there is a little +/-.
#1 & 2 Light Brahma
#3 Dark Brahma
#4 Dark Brahma #2
#5 Buff Brahma
#6 Buff Silkie
#7 Buff Silkie
OK, I didn't go to the link....but I know I read here on BYC that you should NOT feed maggots to chickens. I think they have some kind of toxin in them. Maybe you should do some extra research before going through with this, just to make sure.
This is correct, I'm sure a few wouldn't hurt...
On the note of fences, as long as you got permits if needed and installed it with the appropriate setback you should not have to ask your neighbor nor are they required to pay half however. The setbacks for fences, when only one neighbor is getting it are usually 6in inside the owners lot. But...
I'll refrain from posting more pics for a week or 3, but as they grow what am I looking to sex them? They are fairly young, but getting big fast.
My original pics are at https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=194627 but they are a little young. Thanks for the input on the...
Can you post the entire livestock and pet animal ordinance?
I am a firm believer of KIS (Keep it simple). Example below, the reason being it is easier to enforce if it's simple and nuisance laws are generally in place elsewhere.
It shall be unlawful for any person to raise or maintain or...
Have you tried some Polyvisol (seemed to work better than the water mix kind for me).. I did 3 drops a day on a week chick I had, now it's the queen chick. Also try mashing their food up more if this keeps happening.
Are they a smaller breed then your last set?
