How often do you have to apply it? Only the 3 laying hens roost at this point, so should I still treat them all? Only asking because I have 18 birds in total
My chickens free range on our farm during the day & are locked in a coop at night. I noticed that our 3 laying hens (2-3 years old) their feet look like this, while our younger all have the signature yellow legs. Is this from free ranging during the winter or is this some kind of disease?

Attached is a photo of the access type area on top of my chickens foot on Sunday. We got the black plug out of the pad of her foot and that seems to be healing nicely. Do I need to do anything with the top pus pocket as well?
