    My oldest son works as a clerk at the post office. We dressed up the dog to surprise him, everyone thought it was hilarious. :D Archie's a good sport, he loved all the extra attention.

    I made and canned some salsa and tomato sauce today. Using sauce for salsa was a great idea, thanks to you all for sharing because the worse part of making salsa is pealing, deseeding and chopping tomatoes for me.

    That's crazy. I usually set them out in the sun for a week or two and the smell goes away. :(

    Airing them out makes the smell go away, it takes some time. I use those pans year-round all my birds like them. We also use them for dog waterers, and cattle and pig feed pans.

    We have 2 older established trees with really good fresh eating pears but my 7-year-old pear tree that finally produced this year had small pears that weren't naturally sweet. So, I made Pearsauce today, because my husband and I thought it sounded good, so why not. :D

    We have a pear tree that finally had pears after 7 years, but they are small and not very sweet. So, I made Pearsauce, my husband and I liked the sound of it anyway.
