That's why I have stashes of both in my shop. Dear Wife does not like those metal coat hangers, so I take them out to the garage, and they eventually get used for something. I save the thin wire from unpacking stuff. Just roll it up and put it in a drawer, ready for use if/when the time comes...- gtaus

Looks like you solved the problem. Great job. I don't know about the screws for your feeder, but our local Fleet store sells all kinds of screws and bolts in bins. You can buy a single bolt if you want. I often take a part into the store and look for a matching bolt or screw if not a common...- gtaus

I have never loaded cattle panels in a pickup or small trailer. But lots of people do it successfully. Sounds like you have a better way. Thanks for sharing. I hope it helps @Sally PB who posted her concerns. -

Hard to tell the size from the picture, but it should work fine to trap chipmunks. Just have to figure out what bait to use. The chipmunks I have in the yard are smaller than a rat, so I would think it would work. :idunno Not quite sure why you want to use a live trap to catch rats and mice... -

Never tried. Dear Wife sells most of our excess eggs to friends. But we keep the smaller eggs for ourselves. Every once in a while, we have enough for a batch of hard-boiled eggs and then I will pickle some. -

When we have excess eggs, I like to make pickled eggs simply using a can of sliced pickled beets... I just pack a jar with the eggs, sliced beets, and the pickling juice from the can. No recipe to worry about. Pickled eggs ready in a day or two. I like the pickled eggs and the sliced beets...
