    As a hen gets further into a laying cycle frequently her eggs will become lighter. If she has been laying for a long time without a break, this is not unusual.

    Saw the girl monitoring the wild turkeys this morning. 6 of the 8 monitored hens are still alive. Two have hatched poults, and two are about to hatch poults.
