    My fawn runner hen started laying 3 days ago. I made egg salad sandwiches for dinner and OMG, so good. I don't know if this story is about age but still it's amazing. My youngest pullet to lay was my white leghorn at 13 1/2 weeks.

    What did you do in the garden today?

    I pulled out all of the cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, lettuce, cilantro, mustard greens, peas and radishes. It's too hot for any of it to grow so now I have more room for lots of other things like maybe moving some tomato plants into the stairstep bed and the small bed.
