Just like milkmaids developed resistance to cowpox. Which led to the development of a vaccine for smallpox, saving who knows how many millions of lives.

Could it be fowl pox? If so it will just go away on its own. Babies roosting separate from their mom would not work here, it was 56° last night.

The Omega Rocks: The Last & Ultimate Barred Plymouth Rock Flock

Too bad you don't have a couple big solid hens that could teach those boys some manners. Nothing like a good assertive girl saying no to a hormonal teen.

23 from Toledo bypasses Detroit and meets up with 75 near Flint. Not much scenery in that part of the state on any route. Then north of Bay City 23 splits off again and follows the Eastern shoreline, a really beautiful drive.

The deer made a raid into my garden two days ago and demolished about 25% of my hostas :barnie . There aren't very many of them around here and they don't come every year. Got my deer spray out and doused everything else down.

I'm actually quite a snake fan. If you are finding them in your barn it is likely because they are finding food, most likely rats mice etc. Those are cute little fellows Lisa!
