    Silkies. I use Kalmbach 20% organic starter. & have been for a while. Never had issues with the feed. I’ve given everything I can think to give. I just chalked it up to failure to thrive but lost 3 more this morning. I don’t understand what’s happening

    Well I didn’t have 50 chicks hatch. I had about 3-5 chicks from each breeder so I have about 20 in the brooder. & yes. Same bin I always use. I use paper towels as bedding & have never had any issues like I’m having now.

    Ear Infection? Canker?? HELP!

    Bump! I’m currently dealing with the same issue but my chicken eye was closed shut with gunk. I put Terramycin in her eye and am planning to now give her Tylan tomorrow as soon as I wake up! I am worried it is somehow a canker that spread to her ear so I’ll be double checking for that too!

    Humidity & temps were good. The first one hatched perfectly. Second one had issues turning bc it had a vaulted skull & I had to help it but it was more than ready! I will give them poultry cell! They’re eating & drinking really well so far though!

    Oh how sweet! I had partridge & cuckoo & possible red plye in my last hatch & the breeder I got them from had no idea who parents were hahaha it’s so cool to see what they produce!
