    I have no help for you, and would like to here some advice as well. I have some youngins around 1yr starting to lay and they are in the nest boxes poopin and sleeping. I have a roost in there but, some stay in the nest! grrrr K

    How can I tell which hens are not laying?

    Everyone has said to look at their combs. If they are really red they are laying if pale or off pink they aren't. I am still having trouble telling on some of mine. Karen
