Quails hatching and….
I just got finished hatching my quail. I let them dry for a couple hours and when I took them out to put in brooder, placed paper towel down on the floor. The incubator heated up quickly and set for the rest of the eggs I had in it. Quail hatched on day 18 and 19. My Bantam hatched out day 23.- EK1955

can turkey be housed with chickens?
I have 8 adult turkeys with my chickens. The generally get along well with the chickens. My oldest female (6 yrs), Ms T, sometimes picks fights with my roosters & chases them around the yard. One of my youngest T hen hatched her 1st today. She was raised with the chickens since a polt last year. -

Baby chicks!
I'm so excited! My hens finally hatched chicks this morning. My broody Ameraucana hatched 4 chicks so far .There are mixed eggs in the nest (RIR, Barred Rock, Sex-links, turkey , ameraucana) The nest is guarded by one of my Tom's. I'm a grandma after 2 yrs!- EK1955
